Important tips for a safe visit that minimizes stress:

Health Recommendations

Physical Exams

It is important to understand that the majority of our exotic pets are prey species and don’t show signs of illnesses many times until it is too late. This is because, in the wild, a sick or injured animal would be the first to be targeted by a predator. It is our recommendation that all exotic pets receive a physical exam every 6 months to help identify disease early on to minimize suffering and to ensure the best possible outcome for your pet.

Wellness Care for Ferrets

Ferrets are able to contract similar diseases to dogs and cats and therefore certain vaccines are necessary to prevent disease.

Depending on the species of animal, having your exotic pet spayed or neutered may be essential in prevention of certain diseases and behavioral problems. This will be discussed at your visit.
