Dr. Kathleen Muckenhirn
DVMDr. Muckenhirn started out in general practice in Utah but soon discovered her passion for the fast-paced world of emergency and urgent care medicine.
Now proudly calling Buffalo home, she thrives in a fast-paced environment and has professional interests in surgery, behavior, and critical care.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Muckenhirn finds joy in her small zoo - err, pets. She shares her home with Tonks the Swiss Mountain Dog, Fig the Pionus parrot, three cats, a rabbit, snakes, geckos, and a flock of small birds. When she's not at work, you’ll likely find her dog training, hiking, camping, reading, watching movies, or planning her next big adventure. A passionate traveler, she’s volunteered with veterinary groups around the world to spay and neuter hundreds of pets and provide veterinary services in areas where there are otherwise none.
